The Client:

Ostal Construction
Website Design, launch and SEO

The Brief:

Ostal Construction was a new, small renovation and construction firm entering the highly competitive Île de Ré / La Rochelle market. They needed to quickly establish digital credibility and drive qualified local inquiries, but lacked a website and a digital strategy.

My Role

My role for Ostal Construction was that of the Foundational Digital Strategist.

I was responsible for moving the company from zero digital presence to operational readiness.

This involved translating the competitive market analysis into a clear website structure and functional design, personally overseeing the website development, and executing all initial foundational SEO to ensure the new site was optimized for local search visibility (like "renovation Île de Ré") from the moment it launched.

Outcome:

Our strategy focused on a simple, elegant design that mirrored the quality of their craftsmanship, ensuring information (services, portfolio, contact) was easy to access for potential clients. Crucially, the site was optimized from day one for local search (SEO), establishing the necessary foundational authority to compete effectively in their challenging market.

Within the first three months of launch, the strategy quickly translated into tangible market visibility.

By focusing on a clean, optimized design and robust local SEO, we achieved significant immediate gains:

  • Total clicks increasing by 109% month-over-month

  • The average search position soared from 14.5 to 6.6.

  • High-quality engagement, demonstrated by an outstanding 25% Click-Through Rate (CTR)
